“Bett und Bike” is the service portal of the ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club). Hotels or inns that bear the “Bed and Bike certified” seal meet the quality criteria for bicycle-friendly accommodation.
Specifically, these are the following minimum standards that each facility must demonstrate:
- Lockable room for overnight storage of bicycles
- Accommodation of bicycle guests for one night
- Room for drying clothes and equipment
- Offer a full breakfast
- Information on the regional tourist offer for cycling tourists
- Provision of a basic repair kit
The “Bed and Bike certified” seal requires at least three more services from the following list. You will find the services printed in bold in our hotel:
- Advice for guests on environmentally friendly arrival and departure
- Pick up and drop off service for cycling guests
- Rental or hire bike offer
- E-bike or pedelec rental
- E-bike or pedelec charging stations
- Offer of day tours
- Luggage transfer to the next accommodation
- Cooperation with a bicycle workshop
- Rental of navigation devices
- WLAN use included
- Packed lunch
