The Schießl Wirtshaus Amberg is a traditional Upper Palatinate beer tavern with an eventful history. Parts of the building date back to the fourteenth century. In 2004 a fire destroyed the inn almost completely. The reconstruction and restoration took three years.
With regulars’ tables, street sales and an extensive range of speciality beers, every visitor feels well looked after. In the secluded inner courtyard or the wood-panelled guest rooms you can spend a pleasant time with a freshly tapped Amberg beer.
